Lambing 2020 is well underway and in these surreal and testing times it is lovely to see them chasing their buddies around the field then lying flat out in the sunshine - a true sign of spring.
Calving is also well underway and the cows are starting to get turned out - one of my favourite sights when they realise they are FREE and off they go to eat as much grass as they want with the sunshine on their backs...
Although the Pods are closed we are using the time to catch up with jobs which is quite satisfying, not as nice as guests staying and we miss the sounds of children playing and the smell of BBQ food but time will bring all of this back.
Joshie is staying in a Pod while nightshift lambing and I'm not sure I'm going to get him to move back into the house - he seems very settled!
Gracie has been taking some lovely spring pictures which are attached - enjoy them, lovely spring sights. The Swallows are back and I have two sets of Curlews which always makes me feel happy.
Stay In and Stay Safe everyone - this will help us to bring "normality" back.
