Varnish, paint, everything and anything cleaned and cleaned again and all over a two day closed period - phew!  Even the gates and parking posts have had a makeover absolutely ready to welcome our next guests. An exciting weekend ahead and our Coronation guests have a "Royal Welcome Pack" and something cold and fizzy to enjoy whilst Toasting Marshmallows outside our newly varnished Pods under the magical Dark Skies - a fab way to celebrate.... We have had some lovely sunny "proper spring" days with Daffodils, Crocus, Snowdrops and the sound of the returning Curlew - all signs of spring that lift us all just that little bit... Hanging baskets are in situ at the site and Dolly is finding our younger guests completely fascinating so much so that she had a little nap over the fence!&nbs...

We've had a few "white(ish)! days and all of our guests comments have surrounded the brilliant Dark Skies and how warm and cosy the Pods are.    We have underfloor heating, a heated towel rail and fleecy blankets as well as the obligatory Hot Chocolate!  Each Pod has two parking spaces and we have plenty of space and a Play Area...

Sounds like the start of a fairytale doesn't it!  Our recent guests have had a lovely time with a pre-wedding Party in our fabulous Hut and a visit to our cottage at Bamburgh where they were blown away by the beauty of the castle (I fear we take it a bit for granted!)  The coast is a 45 minute drive from the Pods and beyond beau...

 Sleep Tourism is the new buzz word with options for complete darkness, complete peace and tranquility, pillow options (we don't do options but we do lovely pillows!).  SO if Sleep Tourism is your thing we have plenty of it, in bucketfuls!  Comfy beds, blackout blinds, insulated Pods for complete silence, outside noise is very minima...

Thought I'd give you a few pictures from the GlamPods this morning, I've left a sledge at Wren Pod as we have two very excited children staying tonight and according to their Mum they are bursting with excitement to play in the snow - love it! From toasting marshmallows on your own firepit to time spent together in our Lapland BBQ Hut, everyone is welcome.  We have a lovely play area for our younger guests and the site is totally secure so grown ups can have their "me time" as well.  Each pod has an ensuite shower room and lots of extras from tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, ...

 I think I took guests toasting marshmallows on our firepits and the sounds of kids playing a bit for granted - so lovely to see and hear these sounds again - it's good to have you back!   A full glamping site surrounded by fields full of lambs.  Curlews are here, swallows are swooping and everything is basking in sunshine.....&...

Winter jobs getting done between guest visits.  New bathroom floors and shower seals, new signs and I think the seat says it all - ready for our next guests tomorrow.......
