Husband and I attended the Glamping Show at the NAEC in Stoneleigh which gave us an insight into what we are doing right and wrong in the Glamping World.  We came away feeling happy with our site and have some great new ideas so watch this space!  The site continues to host guests from families to dancers (check out my FB page for the Dolly Parton video!) and we are now getting winter bookings which is fantastic.

I realise I've arrived when I found myself painting my drawer and cupboard handles to match the "flying swallows" in the Pod - all part of the continuation of new things.  We are having terraces put down in front of each pod in October which will make a massive difference.

On the farm front we are selling lambs and have cows calving.  Youth has been ploughing and if you check out the Massey Ferguson site he and his terrier are featured quite a lot!  He is off to Leeds this weekend in a very distinctive fancy dress outfit - I am saying no more!  Eldest Youth (Spanners) has finally had his level 2 passed and is cracking on with being an agricultural engineer for a great local company and loves it. He has been living with his lovely girlfriend for a few weeks while her parents are on holiday, I think they are enjoying life together.  Daughter and I are off to the Horse of the Year Show to support our amazing senior games team this weekend- great excitement!

We are offering cosy midweek couples nights over the winter which include a bottle of prosecco and luxury chocolates.Kids are free if the midweek doesn't allow for a babysitter and they get hot chocolate and marshmallows! Contact me for more details.

Happy Glamping!
